  • Condition: This Violin is in good playable condition it has had repairs and at least partial refinishing. The center seem on the top was repaired with a narrow piece added under the bridge and cracks look as though they have been repaired. It is a decent instrument see picture and ask questions. The fingerboard is nice & it looks like ebony the back is fiddle back maple . The tuners pegs are mixed not the same . The tailpiece is ebony I installed that recently from old parts I had on hand and the end pin is old and partially broken but it still works. It comes in a old cheaper style case. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have. See pictures they should give a good idea of its condition !! I did not find a name or any labels on this one so I can only guess as to the maker or its age. It is a good playing Violin and it sounds great. I have no real idea as to its value so I am pricing it in the range I have priced other of the same quality. Make me and offer.

    VINTAGE VIOLIN 1800's ? OR NEWER 4/4 SIZE VIOLIN IN GOOD CONDITION
    This Violin is a 4/4 size violin. It shows use has some repaired cracks it is used & playable and it sounds great with a nice Ebony fingerboard. In my opinion all or at least part of the Violin has been refinished. The back finish looks kinda uneven and a bit thick and a  good portion of the top looks like the original finish has been removed or  worn away. I really do not know who or when or where this was built if you know feel free to share.  This has no label or stamp or anything that identifies it.  If you have any questions about size please verify it before you agree to purchase.
